How it works

The repair comes to you

You deal with one business from first photo to final drop-off. Here’s exactly what happens — and who does what.

  1. Send us photos or give us a call

Whatever’s easier — upload a few photos online or just call us. Two minutes.

  2. We check your options

Not at fault, insurance or private — we explain it plainly before you sign anything.

  3. Pickup or drop-off

We collect from your home or workplace, or you drop it off — whatever suits. And a replacement car to keep you moving.

  4. Repaired & returned

A partner workshop fixes it, you get text updates, and we bring it back.

1. Send us photos or give us a call

Send us a few photos through the online form, or give us a call — whichever is easier. If another driver was involved, include their name, registration and insurer if you have them.

2. We check your options — before you sign anything

We look at who’s likely to be liable and what that means for you: a not-at-fault claim against the other driver’s insurer, a claim on your own policy, or a private repair. You’ll get a written quote and a plain-English explanation of any agreement before anything is signed.

3. We collect your car — or you drop it off

We collect from your home, workplace or wherever the car is, at a time that suits you. Rather drop it off yourself? That’s fine — we’ll arrange a time and place with you. If you’re not at fault and eligible, a comparable replacement car (supplied by our sister company, National Hire Car) can be dropped off at the same time — and if you were at fault, we’ll arrange a courtesy car.

4. A partner workshop repairs it

Your car goes to one of our partner workshops, matched to the job. We manage the repair, deal with any insurer assessment, and send you text updates along the way.

5. We bring it back

When the repair is done we return your car and collect the replacement. For not-at-fault claims, we recover the repair and hire costs from the at-fault driver’s insurer. For insurance claims, you pay any excess your policy requires. For private jobs, you pay the quoted price.

Not your fault?

The other driver’s insurer pays. Not you.

When someone else caused the accident and they’re insured, their insurer is responsible for your repairs and a comparable replacement car. No excess. No claim on your own policy. We handle it all.

  • No excess

Nothing comes off your own policy.

  • Replacement car

Comparable car, supplied by National Hire Car.

  • Pickup or drop-off

We collect and return it, or you drop it off — your call.

  • We deal with them

The at-fault insurer, the paperwork, the follow-ups.

FAQ

Who does what

Who actually repairs my car?
One of our partner workshops — established panel and paint shops we work with across Melbourne. We match each job to the right workshop, manage it, and stay your point of contact throughout.
Who is responsible if something isn’t right?
Talk to us. We manage the repair on your behalf and we’ll get any issue put right with the workshop.
How do I get updates?
By text message at the key points — collection, repair started, any delays, and when your car is ready to come home.
Can I drop my car off instead of having it collected?
Yes. Most people like us to collect, but if dropping it off suits you better, just tell us and we’ll arrange a time and place with you.
What do I need to have ready for collection?
The keys, anything you need out of the car, and (for not-at-fault claims) your licence so we can complete the replacement car paperwork.

Crashed? Let’s get you sorted.

Send a few photos and the details. We’ll tell you your options, collect the car (or you drop it off) and take it from there.
