Repair or replace?
Plastic bumpers can usually be repaired if the damage is scuffing, small cracks or a corner that’s been pushed in. Replacement makes more sense when mounting tabs are broken, the bumper is badly split, or the repair would cost more than a new part.
Parking sensors and cameras
Many modern bumpers carry parking sensors, cameras and radar for driver-assist systems. After a bump these may need checking or recalibrating, so tell us what features your car has when you send photos.
Rear-ended at the lights?
If someone ran into the back of you, they’re almost always at fault. Their insurer should pay for your bumper repair and a replacement car while yours is being fixed — and we can handle it all. How not-at-fault claims work.
